Charlotte maintains a broad civil litigation and public law practice. Her experience includes constitutional and human rights law, administrative law including judicial review, Indigenous law and governance matters, environmental and regulatory law, as well as employment and commercial disputes. She has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, and in a range of investigations and commissions of inquiry.

In addition to her Canadian practice, Charlotte acts in matters before international bodies, including United Nations treaty bodies and special procedures such as the UN Human Rights Committee and the Committee on the Rights of the Child, as well as before regional human rights mechanisms including the Inter-American Commission and Court of Human Rights.

Charlotte has a particular academic and professional interest in sustainable Arctic development and has written and presented on the circumpolar implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
