Ingvar is an articled student at Bojm, Funt & Gibbons LLP. Ingvar completed his B.A. at the University of British Columbia, obtained his LL.B. with Honours from the University of Law in London, U.K., in 2022, followed by the LL.M. at the Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto in 2024.
Early in his career, Ingvar was employed by the Law Society of British Columbia, where he was regularly advising lawyers on regulatory requirements pertaining to incorporation of law practices and oversaw the licensing and membership status of lawyers in the province. Later, Ingvar spent a few years working as a class action paralegal at one of the leading class action firms in Canada, where Ingvar was a lead paralegal on several major national class actions, such as the 60s Scoop and the Indian Boarding Homes.
Most recently, Ingvar articled at a criminal defence and family litigation firm in Vancouver, where he had regularly represented clients before the Provincial Court of BC and the Supreme Court of BC. During his articles, Ingvar also played a key role in securing a declaration of mistrial in a widely publicized Court of Appeal case.
Ingvar is fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
